Slow Cooker Molly’s Chicken Recipe

This is a really easy dinner which my 2.5 year old daughter loves. It is a great winter dish.
Ingredients
For 4 servings:
- 1.5kg of chicken drumsticks skins removed
- 1 x 600g jar of passata (or substitute using tomato paste)
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons of soft brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 carrots sliced
Method
1. Place the drumsticks in to slow cooker.
2. Add the chopped carrots
3. In a separate bowl combine the passata, soy sauce, garlic and sugar. Then pour over chicken
4. Leave to cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve with a green vegetable and rice or couscous.
